Merlin wins BIA Loss Adjuster Initiative of the Year

Merlin was delighted to be the recipient of the Loss Adjuster Initiative of the Year award at the British Insurance Awards ceremony at the Royal Albert Hall on the 8th July 2009. Over 1800 people from across the insurance market were at the prestigious ceremony.
The criteria were ‘creative responses to a changing market, coupled with quality of service and an innovative approach to claims problems. Merlin’s submission was around how Merlin has grown from a traditional loss adjusting company to be a multi-faceted Total Claims Management Solution (TCMS) and Loss Adjusting Services Group.
We set out how the development of our Total Claims Management Solution, together with the highly successful adoption of the Xactware software applications, has been a major business initiative for Merlin, whilst at the same time improving the customer claim journey. We concluded that our new business contracts, based on our new model, clearly demonstrated that Merlin is the most innovative Loss Adjuster in the UK market today.
