Merlin's Manchester Office is on the Move

Merlin’s Deansgate based offices are on the move to Portland Street, Manchester and will be operational from 1st February 2010.

The new office, which is Grade II listed and has a distinctive architectural exterior, has over a period of some 15 months been transformed to Grade A standard, with specially designed working spaces that will provide a great office-working environment. In line with Merlin’s energy saving policy, the new offices have energy conservation features, such as movement lighting. Situated in a prime City Centre location it has the space available to further grow the already successful Deansgate based Service Centre. Just 5 minutes walk from Piccadilly Station and within immediate proximity to the Metro link and bus interchange, the location of the new Service Centre really is excellent.

Merlin currently employs some 70 people in the Manchester Service Centre and the new premises will see the creation of further jobs in the future with capacity for 110 staff.

Chief Executive Officer Richard Webster explains: “The success of our Total Claims Management Solution and Intelligent Service Centres has been such that new, larger offices have been required. We were delighted to secure the premises at Portland Street, which provide the space we need now and has room for our planned further expansion. It has been a good start to 2010, with our growing reputation as the leader in Loss Adjusting and Claims Management and the move to the new offices, plus the appointment of Richard Shanks as Service Centre Director gives us the ideal opportunity to continue developing our market leading Claims Management service.”
